Gave the 357 the scout treatment

Post by Spider »

Vortex cross fire. Not as clear as the Lupy on my 44 but it was 100$ less and goes to 7 power in case I need to shoot small stuff at 100 yards. Figure it will make a nice deer gun for the wife or boy. Fun plinker for me too. She gets smoother with every shot. The NOE mounts are very nice. Now for the smaller lever..........

Very nice :D How does it shoot?
When funds allow, that means when I'm given permission, I fancy doing the same thing to my .44.

cheers

It shoots amazing. I dialed it in at 100 and was getting 1" groups in the center of target. 9.3 gr hs-6 with a 158 xtp. Very light in comparison to my 44 scout. I will put some rounds together with h-110 soon.

That's awesome, its a great looking carbine. I'd like to trade my 44 carbine for a 20" .357.

Thanks for sharing.
