As many guns as Remington has made over the years I sometimes wonder how they've stayed in business given the number of them I've run into that weren't quite right AND the number of designs they've come out with over the past 30 years that just didn't make the cut in terms of reliability and/or safety. That doesn't count the hash they made of Marlin when they relocated production.

One of the better rimfires they 'came out with' under the Remington label was simply made in Turkey and marketed by Remington.
