I live north of Cincinnati and have seen a 16" Rossi 92 (blue) in 357, at Walmart (of all places). Around $530.
I bought mine at Bass Pro 20" version , blue, 357, for $610 including tax, before 10% discount.
Runs smoother than my 1906 Winchester 94 in Winchester 32 special, out of the box.
I did cycle the Rossi several hundred times before I used it for the first time.
I have no interest or affiliation with either Rossi or Walmart.

Re: Rossi 92 Availability
For what it's worth ...
I got my Rossi ( 16 in., blued, .38/.357. big loop ) at Wally World years ago.
Memory not what it used to be so don't recall the price, less that $500 for
sure !
Went like this... was shopping and asked about the carbine and the kind
lady behind the counter said " let me make a call ". Came back with "they
( ? no idea ) have one with a big loop, I can have it here in less than a
week." You can guess the ending.
Went through three if you count the original buckhorn sight, two aperture
and a red dot before I admitted my ole eyes weren't what they used to be.
Vortex Scout Scope was the answer for me.
Soo, if there's a Wally World near by ... ask and you may be surprised. I
was !
