Mine is a 45LC with the 24 inch barrel.. I chose this caliber because all my conversion crlinders for my BP revolvers are 45LC +guns

Mine is a .45 Colt, and I hand load all of my own ammo for it, and some of what I load for it I would not shoot from any of my single actions. :D
Am I paranoid? Nope, I'm heavily armed!

.357 Mag. I'm cheating a little bit. I just ordered mine from Bud's Gun Shop and probably won't have it for another week.

ETA: Now I'm officially the owner of a .357 Mag.

The first bunch our family (me, wife, four kids) accumulated:

Now, including all of us, we've got:

357 Mags
  • 16" stainless with Marbles Bullseye rear, Lyman Gold Bead front
20" blued with Williams FP 'ghosted' rear, Williams Firesight front
24" stainless octagonal with Taurus Tang #21 rear, Lyman Globe front
44 Mags
  • 16" stainless with Marbles Bullseye rear, Lyman Gold Bead front
20" blued with Williams FP 'ghosted' rear and 'tube-loading' magazine, Williams Firesight front
24" stainless octagonal with Taurus Tang #21 rear, Lyman Globe front
45 Cal
  • 16" stainless with Marbles Bullseye rear, Lyman Gold Bead front - 45 Colt
16" blued with factory front & rear, Burris Fastfire-II and LaserMax on B-Square QD mount - 45 Colt
20" blued with factory sights and 'tube-loading' magazine - 45 Colt
20" stainless with Williams FP 'ghosted' rear, factory front and 'tube-loading' magazine - 454 Casull
24" blued octagonal on brass frame with Taurus Tang #21 rear, Lyman Globe front - 45 Colt
As you can tell - we all like Rossi's...!

The blued 16" 45 Colt is my most-used 'Go-To' gun around the rural homestead - I call it my 'Night Scout' version - http://www.levergunscommunity.com/viewt ... =1&t=31062

OK Blued .44 Mag 16" Trapper now home, haven't had chance to get to range yet, also on order .357 16" in Stainless Steel, I've got it bad, that will be three Rossi's in just a couple of months. :D

Weird... been studying the totals on the chart about every 15 days and the balance of the cartridges has remained pretty much the same as selections have been added. The sum of the 44 Mag & 45 Colt equals the 357 Mag. The 454 Casull has been running half of the 44 Mag or 45 Colt or a quarter of the 357 Mag.
