Feeding issue on my 92 44mag. Carbine
When I lever first round all’s well. But when next cycle is started it ejects nicely but the next round doesn’t
Move into the area where it can be picked up. Repeatedly cycling the lever will eventually work. If I move
The lever slowly it will never feed the second round. Moving lever hard and fast seems to be better. This gun has been a pia since I got it. Any ideas?

Thoroughly de-gunked, well lubricated, ammo )AL pretty close to SAAMI spec? As you noted run it like you stole it get several hundred full cycles on it. Check the mouth of the tube for burrs.
That's what comes immediately to mind for previous solutions to your type problem. My 357 didn't much like 38 Spl until ir had about 200 357 rounds through it. On the other hand my 45 Colt feeds everything I feed it. Sometimes they take a bit of work.
Make smoke,

Have you hand cycled it a few hundred times decocking by hand each time. If not start there, then after that remove buttstock and magazine cap and spring and follower then use non chlorinated brake cleaner to flush it all out. Spray into barrel until flows clear do same with magazine tube then spray the action until it comes out clear. then relube it all inside mag tube and barrel and especially the action. Then work the action a few hundred more times as time permits. If this doesn't work you did the easy stuff first. Keep us posted

Re: Feeding issue on my 92 44mag. Carbine
Had the same issue with a 92 in 45 Colt. Sent it back to Rossi and they did nothing to fix it. Still not totally fixed, but working over the cartridge stop has helped tremendously. It went from not hardly ever feeding, to feeding well "most" of the time. I put it to the back burner and used a Marlin 1894 Cowboy action shooting. I'll get back to it this winter-hopefully. Get the Rossi 92 gunsmithing video from Stevesgunz.com, along with a replacement ejector spring, and follow the disassembly instructions. Work slowly and check the results often.

Re: Feeding issue on my 92 44mag. Carbine
Thanks to everyone for all the ideas to fix my 44 mag 92. I can't get to it till spring as I'm in Florida for the winter and I didn't bring it with me. My original plan was to use it for hog hunting but I couldn't depend on it so I purchased an AR in 300 blackout and this baby kills pigs! Anyway I'll try these ideas when I can but I'm inclined to sell when I get home. Any ideas what a 16" stainless with Nikon scope used very little is worth?
