Rossi Overland beginning and end

Hi, I have an overland 20 ga. now. I am trying to figure out the history of these, and it is not easy. I am throwing this out, and if anyone can correct or add to it, it would be great. This may or may not be correct:
they were imported from 1978 thru 1988. All were made my Rossi. The earliest versions had hammers and top levers "in the white" or nickle plated or something similar, marked Garcia, then came case hardened hammers and top lever, again stamped Garcia, lastly came blued hammers and top lever, marked Interarms. I see some on the internet that have Interarms stamped on the side plate. Are there any other identifying areas to determine era ? Thanks
