It wasn t the best idea of the evening...

took it all apart except for the hammer spring, it looks ultra stiff, so i m not sure if i cant bring it back together...

it s not that complicated but much deception when done, the wood machining is terrible, i ll take some pics tomorrow.

i cant see how i can make the trigger lighter.. the spring is weirdly machined, maybe i can get a little bit less creepy by sanding the sear.

Anyway, it doesnt look too good. i m gonna sleep on it. take a second look in the morning, get some pics, maybe you ll have an idea.
I got the thing for $50 + a case of OM beer with one missing so as long as the Tweetie or Bugs drop when I squeeze a trigger I won't be looking that gift-horse in the mouth.

so i couldnt resist again, took the trig assembly apart. not so bad.

to take it apart, i just unscrewed everything i could except the one holding the opening "trigger" ( how would you call taht?)

bend the rear of the trigger guard, the front is screwed so pop up the back then turn.

only pin is up and front of the triggers.

for the trigger job the only thing i could do is trim the sear, and make it more neutral. the best thing would be to change the spring but i dont know where to find it so it will stay that way for now.

next i ll refinish the wood. I dont like the reddish color.

Great pictures. The work on the wood is horrible! I know what you mean when you say you don't have the "will" to fix the crack. Back away a day or two and hit it again, you will feel different and it won't seem quite task that it does now.

Typical Amadeo Rossi workmanship illustrated in the previous pictures but the bloody things work as do my 3 x M92s.
My SxS & 3 x M92s have functioned well for 20 years.
The SxS action is smoothly & the triggers are decent.
And for a $50 + 11 bottles of Old Milwaukee purchase price from a co-worker whose new bride didn't like guns in the house I don't really care what's inside it.

Are you able to remove the springs from there rods and trim a coil or two? This should lighten you trigger but slow and steady trim and test to be sure it will still engage the primer and fire. tread lightly Also thanks for documenting your work here.
