My new Winchester 94 30-30

Post by Quinc »

Now that the Lever gun bug has bitten me with the Rossi m92 I have my second lever gun from around 1967 that appears to have never been fired, It is in such good shape that I don't even want to shoot it. So I am considering selling/trading her for a 45/70 or something else if anyone is interested.

Very nice. I have one that my dad purchased in 1968. It was cataloged as the "Antique Finish" which is a case hardened finish on the receiver plus saddle ring. It is in very good shape despite be toted around heavily. I bet that rifle has killed at least 500 big game animals here in Texas; whitetail and mule deer, javelina and feral hogs, plus pronghorn antelope.

Beautiful rifle. If I was you I'd keep it and just save up for a 45-70 Rio Grande.
