First try with a Blackhawk Serpa holster.
Came with both belt and slide mounting hardware.

Re: Blackhawk Serpa
Been using one for years. They work fine.....use the pad of your finger, not the tip of the finger.......

Re: Blackhawk Serpa
I have both the Black Hawk and a Fobus for 1911. Find they work best with full size sorta with commander size and not well with officer size. In recent years I've come to favor and appreciate good leather.

I've got Galco Avengers for 5",4" and 3" 1911s. Good retention on all of them.
Have an older BlackHawk kydex. No secondary retention just the rubber doughnut trigger guard pinch. Works fine. Slick as snot BUT does wear on the trigger guard over time.

Re: Blackhawk Serpa
I second that. Leather is nice, but plastic is weatherproof. I use a Serpa as my competition holster with a Beretta PX-4. And a Fobus with my S&W revolver, when I don't feel like being competitive.

Re: Blackhawk Serpa
Fobus may be better than they used to be but the ones I had were worse than useless.
Gun would hang up in the holster. Rivets inside were coated but the coating was subject to rubbing off and then it was bare metal on the gun. That was about 15-20 years ago and their only saving grace was they were cheap enough that trashing them wasn't a big loss.
