Inexpensive Rubber Grips

Post by LowKey »

The Taurus 24/7 has a hard plastic grip that's the perfect size,
but a little rough around the edges.

Hogue rubber grips would solve the roughness problem,
but would add a bit to the grip diameter.

Someone else gets credit for the solution, which is a bicycle inner tube,
cut for size, and then pulled over the stock grip.

Very comfortable to hold, hardly distinguishable from a stock grip.

Yep bike tire tubes are a go to for many options I use them on mags in pouches to keep them silent like in 2 mag and 3 mag pouches.

Greetings
Great idea ! That will solve all sorts of grip conditions. Some wood grips and other materials are not conducive to a good grip.
Some rifle butts would be a bit more comfortable under heavy recoil.

Go with a racing tube (or something marked ultralight) for an even thinner solution.

That is a clever, great idea, gave me food for thought, and AK, yours as well.
