Well I know you will have a bast shooting that baby!!!! Have liked Ruger's for many years now. Cut my teeth with a Ruger single six in 22-22 mag. Did a lot of coon hunting in the late 70's early 80's and always had that Ruger on my side. That was when a good coon would bring $25 to $30 bucks. Man we had some fun being out all night with my Blue Tick and Red Bone hounds.

I use to do the same coon huntin My favorite breed to train was blue ticks my best dog was spike before an albino coon mauled him so bad he had to be put down. Me and my grandfather coon hunted alot. I do remeber coons being worth somthing and then nothing. Crazy how fast the world changes. My 1022 has taken many coons.

Akuser47, I am getting ready to remove the mag disconnect myself on my MkIII 22/45! I can't stand that garbage! Should make the disassembly much easier with less dumb steps.

I think you will like it alot better. I got the bam bushing and polished up all areas I could that needed. My trigger pull is awsome. I may do more polishing in the furture to get the trigger pull lower but it is great now.
