I split it with a cutoff disc in my Dremel, easy peasy. Also glued sandpaper to a dowel rod and hit 'er a few licks, much better now!

Getting to where I enjoy working on leverguns. Their design is fascinating, how all the parts work together, especially considering when they were created and what men had to work with then.

This .357 had a few minor issues, and I believe I've solved them. Worst was the barrel was off-kilter a couple of degrees and the sights leaned slightly right. But I was actually able to tighten the barrel by hand just enough to correct it. All by myself! No gunsmith needed, just an old shadetree gun hack.
