Yeah, the rest of the stuff should be here in a couple days. Baseball season has started so I will have no time until June.

I didn't have to replace the trigger or the scope rings.
I could have had a functional unit with the cracked stock....but that's not in my DNA.

Update:

Stock arrived....it was for an old model. Seller doesn't want it back or to be paid. Found the proper stock in take off condition ten miles from here for $25. Found a rear sight for free. Once those are in hand I will have all the parts....I think.

That'll bring the total to $62 minus what I can get (very little I'm sure) for the "custom" old model stock.

All done.
I found a cheap late '80's take off stock and treated it to the fastest type of refinish I know of. I used a Scotch-Brite soaked in rubbing alcohol to thin the original color then applied three coats of Tru-Oil. Found a free set of sights (installed rear to block dovetail, left front off and plugged that hole with a threaded plug screw), a new trigger and low rings from MidwayUSA, plus a couple homemade remedies and now it looks like this.

Looks great! You should be able to get your money back if the bounty is still on the tree rats. :D

That reminds me I need to grab a handful of bulk .22LR. All I have in the truck is 50 gr subsonic.

Nice work looks great, I hope 22 rim fire ammo will become plentiful again someday. I'm shooting through my horde of bulk 22 long rifle.

It's plentiful right now.

I have a 13 box lot of Federal AutoMatch I thought I sold but the guy never came to pick it up. Likely found some cheaper than the $0.04 per round ($13.85 per 325) I was asking.
