Does anybody have a picture of one of the bolt mounted peep sights before it's put on a rifle?Im trying to figure out if the piece that mounts in the bolt and is pinned is threaded on the inside for the piece with the peep (ring) to screw down in.I just didn't understand how if it is pinned in the bolt, how you screw it up an down to adjust elevation.
Thanks Jeff

Re: Pictures of a 92 bolt mounted sight
This may help. That's Steve Gunz aperture sight that replaces the safety.
The barrel for lack of a better description that fits in the bolt is not
threaded. This pic doesn't show it but there is a groove in the barrel
where the pin secures it in the bolt.
Elevation is adjusted using the threaded aperture ring, Knurled ring
locks it in place vertically. Wind-age adjustment is only by moving
the front sight.
That combo is for sale btw ... Jim
