Hi Everyone
My name is Ruffbird & I like to shoot & reload for my guns. I was raised with firearms, got my huntin licence at 15 yrs old & 1"st handgun at 20. I do belong to a gun club & shoot mostly pistol calibre handguns & rifles. I also hunt grouse with my trusty little 20 ga Remington in the fall time. I recently retired (I'm almost 64) so "I'm giving her now", so to speak! (Had to take her easy at work to save myself for retirement.)
I recently purchased a new SS Rossi R92 in 45 colt & slowly learning about it right here & on youtube. I am looking forward to your experiences & wisdom about these rifles. I do have rugers, Marlins, others as well. Now Rossi is the new kid on the block. Picking the cartridge it would chamber was the hard part, because I have a fondness for 357 & 44 mag too.
I purchased the Rossi 92 because it is light, shoots one of my favorite cartridges, & it's just a perty looking rifle! I suppose you folks already know that.... I hope to soon post a photo or 2 for you to ponder. I also enjoy the photos of everyone's guns....
Thanks for stopping by & I look forward to the conversation with all of you, & thankyou for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself. Happy Rossi day!

Re: Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada
Welcome,
I also have a fondness for .44 Mag especially in carbines and over the past 5 or 10 years have been getting into .357s. I haven't made the .45 Colt plunge, probably a mistake letting a couple Smith N frames get past me when they were priced right.
You should have a lot of fun with your new rifle.
Mine seem to get along with the Winchesters and Marlins fine.
