M92 owner from Washington
Hello,
I am a lifetime firearm shooter, reloader and sometimes gunsmith. I bought a NIB Rossi M92 off my father in law he is a collector and most guns he buys new and never fires a single shot through them or takes them a part.
This one is a 44 Magnum, Blued and 16" round barrel. The stock is cracked from the factory so my first task was to epoxy glue it before shooting it. That fix came out very well.
In my searches for info and parts on the Rossi lever found this forum so here I am.

That's a good father-in-law to have. Welcome from a fellow Washingtonian!

Hello from your back yard. I love the Rossi 44 magnum with 16" round barrel. It's a great hunting rifle for our state. Mine wears an IER scope and a recoil pad.

Welcome, I'm hoping the crack you fixed was just the forearm mag tube to barrel piece it is common and most just remove the thin layer or leave it be aside from sealing the wood so it is less affected by moisture.

It was the stock that was cracked where it slides into the tang on one side on the inside. The forearm was thin in a spot with a crack but just took 1/4" strip out of the center all the way lengthwise.akuser47 wrote:Welcome, I'm hoping the crack you fixed was just the forearm mag tube to barrel piece it is common and most just remove the thin layer or leave it be aside from sealing the wood so it is less affected by moisture.

Oh, I am not used to that as the stock crack issue. So often it is the forearm not the buttstock. I appreciate the update so we know.

Welcome
You might want to put a brass pin or two in to Help stabilize the repair depending on the crack
