Howdy, my name is Earl.
20 year veteran of the USN Submarine Force, I retired and have worked in various training positions over the last 11 years; in the Chicago suburbs for 8 years and now in Houston. I was invited to a turkey hunt this spring and it rekindled my interest in shooting. Have wanted a lever gun since I was a kid so after a bit of research ( including this forum) surrendered $450 to the local sporting goods store in exchange for a RG4570.
I look forward to learning from everyone here, cause Lord knows my ignorance is profound!
