2019 Shot Show and Rossi?

It is midway through the Shot Show and I've not found a single reference to Rossi despite my searching. Has anybody else looked? Taurus has its 2019 catalog out, nothing from Rossi.

Despite registering my 351 for the recall last year, I've yet to hear anything from them other the automated response from the registration.

Saw a picture of the Rossi booth on Facebook. From what I could see it was 4 of the rimfires 2 of the Circuit Judges and 1 stainless 92.
And a bunch of negative comments about no parts being available.
Same old Rossi

Didn't think of checking FB as I don't bother with it at all. Here are the two images, really drawing a crowd.

I wonder if Rossi management has made any statements concerning the future of the company?

The problem, I think, is that it isn't Rossi management anymore. It's Taurus, a company known for innovative design, spotty QC with the designs they do bring to market and a proven history of abandoning very good designs, in favor of what they think might sell for the next six months.

I got lucky. My TauRossi 20" 45 Colt is by far the best one I've owned,

But I had bad premonitions when I learned that Taurus purchased Rossi, I hope I was wrong.

Rossi has been under the ownership of Taurus since late 2007 so nothing new here. They both have gone through several "parent" changes and now belong to CBC. The new ownership has eliminated some of the issues for Taurus, but Rossi remains stagnant.

There is a good overview of how the CBC management is affecting the operation of Taurus in the current issue of the American Rifleman magazine. The article is about the Spectrum pistol but a good update on the company as well.

Good article RD and thanks for the info. I din't know that it changed my opinion of why we're not seeing new 92s, but it's a good read all the same.

I went back and looked, the 2018 catalog was released on Jan 25. Nothing yet this year.
