Taurus CEO Musical Chairs

Post by Ranch Dog »

Once again, the leadership of Taurus changes. Anthony Acitelli went to Remington Outdoor Company. David Blenker was promoted to CEO of Taurus Holdings, Inc. Under the Taurus Holdings’ umbrella falls Taurus, Rossi, Heritage and Diamondback Firearms, but Taurus Holding is a subsidiary of Forjas Taurus.

Mr. Acitelli didn't do a thing after replacing a guy that did, Mark Kresser. It will be interesting to see what Mr. Blenker has up his sleeve, if anything.

Huh. I have an old Model 669 Taurus revolver that I need to order a rear sight assembly for.

Ranch Dog, have you ever dealt with Taurus directly to acquire parts for one of their models? Are they pretty responsive, or does Taurus adhere to the same policy as Rossi, no parts availability?

Understand that Taurus & Rossi are one in the same, you will speak to the same people at customer service. If you model is currently in production they might have parts. If it is not in production and the sight is not used on another revolver, they won't.
