No doubt we have many members in the path of Irma, I want to wish you and your family safe passage and know that you are in the prayers of many here in Texas.

I second that. Irma is a big girl and not to be taken lightly. Here's hoping she misses, but prayers and Godspeed to those that are in the path.

Not going to be good whichever section of our country gets hits. 170+ winds will make short work of most wood frame structures that are not steel braced.

I'm praying on it Irma is a mean one. She's pulling tidal water out for miles around coasts which means the surges she's produce will be massive. I hope everyone gets out away from her safely.

I had friends evacuate Edisto Island SC yesterday. Pray they have something
to return to.
Here in the upstate we're bracing for strong winds and heavy rains starting
tomorrow. Flash flooding is always a problem and tornado's are not out of the
equation.
Gas cans are topped off and portable generator is on stand-by ... Jim

Best of luck Jim, all you can do is be prepared and it sounds like you are.
