Tried to send pic. to handloading. And said pics. were too big. Sent difference size each time. What gives ????

I find that sometimes when I "reduce" the size in bytes of photos the program "lies" about the size but the board detects it. If you have a photo program that has a "Save for internet" option that should get the job done.

I've been using Photobucket to host pictures in full resolution, and then just copy the IMG link to the photo into the body of the thread post. Like this:

Then I don't have to resize anything.

This shows the size allowed to be hosted on this site in this thread. Photobucket other hosting sites are free I use photo bucket for my pictures. moving this into topics bucket

Me too. It's easy. I often see people post something for sale with no pics stating photobucket is down but I think they're too lazy or don't take time to use it properly.

The size restrictions is an effort to reduce the cost of storage for the forum. The more images you link from photobucket or other sources the better.
