Hard to get excited about doing things when temps are high 90's to triple digits.

Yesterday, a divorced friend in his 60's told me that he was asked out for a date
by a lovely women in her 40's. They were supposed to go to dinner this past weekend,
but at the last minute the woman called to cancel.
He told me that all he could think of when he hung up the phone was:
