We have a good supply down here in Graves County, KY. The LGS are fully stocked as is the local Gander Mountain. Prices seem to be holding steady, not like back in the good ol' days of $5 bricks for 22lr., but "reasonable" given today's prices. You can buy a 525 box of Remington Golden Bullets for right around $40-$45. Not great, but not as bad as it's been.

I was back at the Walmart I mentioned all prices back to normal so not sure what the deal is or was. I was concerned that panic was starting again. So I am glad to see it's not to bad yet.

Every time there's panic buying (an election) in the USA, all our supplies down under run out for a while. Primers and projectiles seems to be the worst as well as .22lr ammo.
So now if I see something I use at anything that resembles a reasonable price I'll buy as much as I can afford. One shop had federal 714 .22 on sale for AUS $400 a case, I got one case and would have taken another if I could have afforded it.

I noticed some bullet shortages on line ( .38 / .357 158g plated ) so I just
ordered 500 Xtreme's to be on the safe side. Heck, 10 % discount and free
shipping made it feel like a bargain !

Haven't been anywhere to see what the local shops have on hand so can't
comment on that.

My powder supply is okay for now as range trips are not a high priority in
the current heat / humidity weather pattern.

Around here everybody got 22 Rifles and Pistols for sale and no ammo. I'm still stocked from the just before the big price bump in 92, seems to be better ammo.
Don't ask me to do anything where where I can't take Bible and Gun, I would leave Dog home, but reluctantly.

"...seems to be better ammo."

I've notice more ammo problems in the past 10 year period than I've probably run into in the 20+ years prior to that.
Major U.S. factory brands seem to be punching it out way to fast to bother maintaining the quality.
