Yeah, my dog would not like them either if we lived where they could be heard.

Thanks, you too.

RD, its funny that firecrackers disturb your pooch, but it's OK with gunfire. :?

It is even more defined than that. She doesn't mind me shooting at critters but she doesn't like my range sessions.

A/C on and windows shut, plenty of rain off and on, and our dawgz didn't notice a thing.

FYI my wife and I live across the Potomac from DC in Alexandria, and can usually hear the fireworks pretty good. Not just the National Mall explosions, but they people get fireworks going all over the place here near the Capitol.

What kept things quieter than usual was the rain we had last night - I didn't even bother to get out, just reassembled an old gun while the dawgz & missus watched boob tube!
(was practicing my R92 complete takedown/reassembly including loading gates then put my Model 14 Remington .32 back together for fun!)

Well as a follow-up we had a double header. Sunday night a local
church right down the road had a fireworks celebration.
Last night the neighborhood did their thing so two anxious nights
and Flash couldn't understand why we were losing sleep.

I will add we're both making up for it today ! Jim
