It's colonoscopy day!!!!!

Every five years I go through this routine. and I still have no love for the preparations. But, soon my son-in-law will be here to pick me up for my 6:15 appointment. I pray that all goes well but I have never had any problems with my previous procedures.

Breakfast is on the schedule too and that I really need. I'm starving.

One more item, we have 9º here this morning.

Oh Lordy ... had your GatorAid yet ?

I had a bout with acute diverticulitis long ago and had to drink
that awful stuff they give you in the hospital. UGH ... had to
force the last bit down. Sure cleans you out !!!

Good luck with your results SteelBanger. Love your beagle we
used to raise the 13 inchers back in the day, great hounds.

I had my first a couple of years ago. While not the most enjoyable two days prior, the worst part for me was the decreased toilet radius travel restriction. Two good things: Propofol is awesome. I'm glad it isn't easy to obtain as I can see how Michael Jackson became addicted, and the video and photos are real party stoppers : )

I had my last one almost one year ago (01/13/15), the day before the surgery to remove the alien baby residing beside my swollen appendix and several inches of small intestine. I had my first colonoscopy in 1995(?) and in both cases, the night before "prep" was the absolute worst part of the experience. My last year ordeal was made a bit easier by self regulating what I ate for a couple days before the single tentacle octopus first day then the open gut plumbing job the next day. I was messed up for months after being put under with drugs two days in a row.

Looks like everything is OK. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers & concerns. I may not need another of these until I'm ten years older.

The prep is worse than the actual exam. Chugging the solution until you gag then chug another 8 oz. until you've run a gallon of the stuff through. Horrible, just horrible.
