At the range with a single shot 22 lever gun

Postby SaltH2Odeprived » 28 Jan 2018 22

Recently installed a Williams Receiver Sight on my Ithaca Model 49 single shot 22 cal levergun.
Finally got some time at the range to try it out, I really like this sight!

Drilled and tapped two 6-48 screws.
Used a drill press.
Reveiver is aluminum so it tapped easily.
It was the most nerve wrecking thing I have done to a gun.

Thanks for sharing. I had an Ithica Saddle Gun in .22 mag. It put a lot of groundhogs in the pot. Being a poor college student, those groundhogs were pretty tasty. :)
