Labradar... I got to be out of my mind!
Well, when that constant South Texas wind blew my Caldwell chronograph over, I flipped out and walked down the hill and ordered a Labradar for an early 2016 deliver. Just tired of setting things up. I will keep you posted.
I'm going to use the bench base rather than a tripod but also bought the case and exterior battery pack.
Guess I kind of flipped out although it isn't that much different than my investment in the pressure trace equipment. Merry Christmas Ranch Dog!

I'm with you RD. Every time I set up my chrony, I get %@*&$ off. It seems that I have to pick up pieces of the sky screens at least twice every danged time, cause they always explode into pieces while trying to get it all together. I would wrap it all up with duct tape if it wasn't so hard to carry with it all put together.
Would be nice to have a one piece chrono like that.

This fit in with my motto very well, "Anything worth doing, is worth over doing."
Life isn't about the toys you accumulate, but about the memories your create with those toys and friends.

Good luck with the LABRADAR unit RD. My PACT blows over all the time too in spite of having it taped together and anchored with a few sandbags trying to give it a low center of gravity. It always burns me up too.

Nahh, you didn't flip, it was meant to be. Anyone who has seen your professional looking engineering drawings and spread-sheets, and then see's the LabRadar, could only reach one conclusion. You were meant for each other.Ranch Dog wrote:Guess I kind of flipped .....

I haven't said anything to my wife Dianna yet but I also figure that it is going to be hard to miss once here. I'm going to use your quote in my defense if the questions get too deep!zippy wrote:Nahh, you didn't flip, it was meant to be. I don't think it's going out on a limb to suggest that a woman, married to a man who prowls his property at night with a rifle and three-legged dog, is not easily rattled.Ranch Dog wrote:I haven't said anything to my wife Dianna yet....
