Whitetail Deer culling with an Axis cull thrown in there as well for a rancher friend this fall.

I've been slaughtering the pigs all spring and summer off of some agg fields at night for some farmer friends.

Otherwise, nothing special.

Been using a variety of tools......but no Rossi to date. About to fix that as I'm ordering a mount to affix a laser to my 16" Rossi .45 Colt's scope.

The issue is being night capable without light. The laser should fix that without having to remove my scout scope.

Found out on Monday that I was one of four guys drawn for a public mule deer hunt in the Rolling Plains portion of the lower Texas Panhandle. This is the Lake Alan Henry Wildlife Mitigation Area, four permits were available so we will be hunting the entire area as a group. I think I'm going to take my R92 454 Casull & Rio Grande chambered in 38-55 Win.

Planning on Deer hunting the northern woods of Wisconsin next week with my son. I'm Taking my Rossi .45 colt w/16in bbl, and my 1972 mod 1895 Marlin in 45/70. My son is going to use my marlin Guide gun in 45/70. Moon phase, and the rut is in full swing, so it should be a good year., but its "bucks only", in the northern part of the state.

Hunt Good.... barracudadave67

Deer season starts Saturday. My Rossi 92 in 45LC with a 300 gr at 1400FPS and my Arisaka Type38 with a 6.5x50 160gr rn at around 2300FPS which is able to keep them in around a 4 inch group at 200 yards. I've seen 3 bucks in the last week close by and one was pretty big. One only had one antler but it had 4 points on it.
They are calling for up to 10 inches of snow for Sunday night!
