This?
For everything?
I'm not a member at CB but I bought all of the remaining JW at HD a while back.
I only use it to seal banded already lubed so far.
Just today I was advised to use this stuff for some Lee 356120TCs I made from a brand new mold.

Re: Rethinking my 357 Mag as a hog rifle?
Is the Johnson Was a floor or a car wax? I looked for it a couple months ago at WalyWord, but couldn't find it. Is it a discontinued product?
OK, I did a google search. Seems Lowe's carries it. I'll be going to Lowe's tomorrow! I'm disliking the gunkiness of Alox.

I was told it is discontinued by the manufacturer. I bought the last three at Home Depot. The 60/40 has Alox in it and it looks like Alox but behaves better. It's not as sticky.

Not a car wax, it is a floor wax.
Nope, not discontinued. Wal-Mart does not carry it for some reason.

Re: Rethinking my 357 Mag as a hog rifle?
Some retailers stopped selling it. Must be why the rumor started elsewhere.

For those that find it in stock locally, please post the retailer. I still have 2.5 containers but I'd like to know for future reference. There is no Lowes here and WM/HD don't have it.

There's discontinued by the manufacturer as in no longer produced and then discontinued by the retailer/wholesaler as in no longer stocked.GasGuzzler wrote:Some retailers stopped selling it. Must be why the rumor started elsewhere.
This stuff has been a staple of the folks making plastic and vinyl models for decades.
