Awesome work Michael! I have a little land (55acres) that is basically flat, and your post got me thinking about what I could do to support more wildlife. Around these parts where everyone seems to be fixated on hunting deer, I actually prefer bird and small game hunting. Doves in the Fall, then Ducks/Geese later in the season. I have 2 small ponds and some pasture land, and the tree rows that act as a boundary for the property have been a haven to many creatures since I was a kid. Working the dogs in the brush is a wonderful thing in itself, especially when they flush a large covey of quail, or the occasional rabbit. Thank goodness feral hogs haven't made it to my land yet.

It never hurts to try to put a little effort in the land. In Texas there is plenty of technical support through Texas Parks and Wildlife and this is the first monetary support I've run across.
