1st Hog with M94 Timber Scout 44 Mag

Post by Ranch Dog »

Sealed the deal at 1:30 am. I had seen two boar hogs at 12:30 but they were at the edge of visibility and just disappeared. Just about to call it quits and they reappear. Took an immediate shot at 80 yards. With the moon, I could see about 100 yards depending on the background. My 275-grain bullet dumped the boar where he stood.

I'm ready to hit the bed!

Yeah, in the dark if they move from the grass to the brush they are immediately gone. That's what happened. Now you see them, now you don't!
