Ranch Dog designed bullet mold

Finally after all these years, I bought a mold for an RD designed bullet.

Last week when NOE put all their .358 molds on sale, I just could not resist. I have to many 358 molds already but I have been wanting to try this one for a long time now. It's RDs 175 grain, Noe calls it SC359-175RF (RD). I opted for the standard lube grooves as I have never tried the tumble lube style, and I have all the regular lubing gear and lube, just in case I ever decide to stop powder coating and go back to lubing and cleaning up all the mess it makes.

It's been nearly a year now since I have been to the shooting range, and there's no telling when I'll get some of these loaded and get out to shoot them. My model boat racing has consumed my life lately and it seems like that's all I ever do.

I did take a break and cast/paint up a few of the new slugs. And I loaded a few dummys to check to see how they cycle. I'm not to worried about the 357s but the 360DWs look to be a tad long.

From the mold with my alloy, which is mostly just WWs and a little tin, they weighed between 177-178 naked. The powder coating adds a couple of grains and then with the homemade gas checks added they end up at 181-182 grains. And they were dropping out at .360 which is good in my book cause I size to .3585"

" How they work out!" ?????
sending messages from your phone??? I hate it when the phone corrects my southern slang and turns my message into something that the enigma machine couldn't decipher.

#1= I guess you meant how (DO) they work out?

I've not shot any yet, soooo.

#2= (Hope) they work out?.....me too. But you know they work, so it's up to me to find the correct load that works in my gun.

#3= I keep trying to come up with something that involves girls and how they work out at the gym. I have the image in my head, but I just can't put it into words.......yet.

I finally got the other picture that I was trying to put in my first post, to go through.
I tried two different colors and some gas checks too.
