Fixin' to pick up my new R92 in .45 Colt soon. Does anybody here use powdercoated lead bullets in theirs? Results?

they shoot about 4% faster than cast boolits with the same powder charge.

All I shoot now is PCed bullets. after cooking my first batch a couple of years ago, I saw right off that this was the way to go.

runfive, I have done side by side comparisons between the two and have not seen a real difference in speed between the two at all.

I have even tried lubed plain lead, PCed lead, and PCed and lubed lead. And there was no clear winner cause they were all about the same.

BUTyou will never have a problem with lead in the bore, not even a speck, when using the PCed bullets.

Accuracy will not be affected either!

Since I started this thread I guess I should say I've been using PC'd boolits in my Rossi with great success! Seems to like them just fine. And when deer season gets here, some poor doe is gonna find out how well they work.
