I see that NOE has the 360-180 molds on sale this week. I "need" another 357 mold like I need another hole in my head.

GEEEEEZZZZ and so many choices. brass or aluminum. 2-3-4-5 cavity. gas check or plain. And OMG look at how big that hollow point is.
$84 for a 5 cavity GC aluminum mold! You'd pay that much for an undersized two hole mold from Lyman.

Did some more shooting with this bullet. tried some LilGun, H110< and some more 300MP loads. I finally got some hot enough to see some flattened primers.

I'll only list the 180 grain bullet(actually 188 grains for me) in 360 cases here since that's what the thread title sez. And these loads were mostly just to find out how fast I could get the bullet going and I did not have enough of them loaded to shoot them for accuracy. I'll get around to that once I decide which powder I'm gonna stick with.
I did have a few more of the 300MP powered loads made up so I shot them at 50 yards to see how they did. I had a few flyers out of 10 rounds, but the main cluster looked really good with 6 rounds going into about 3/4 of an inch. That was at 20.0 grains and 1975 FPS so that would be a heck of a strong load if the accuracy holds up at 100 yards. Three of the primers showed a little flattening so I will try backing that load down to 19.5 next time out, and hopefully that will not slow it down to much.

I noticed that the 300mp loads smoked a good bit. I never really noticed that before because I had been shooting so much of that one powder. But then I shot some H110 and lilgun loads and noticed how they DID NOT smoke. And the cases from the 300mp loads all have some sort of goo on them like they are not sealing too good. That goo, seems to only go back about half way down the case and then it's clean the rest of the way down. The other loads cases are clean all over?????

I'm only gonna show the loads that I think were at the top of my ladders and what I would call max for my gun.

20.0 300MP..........1975 FPS a little to hot, gonna back it down to 19.5 and try again.

18.5 H110...........1860 FPS max 11.9 sd

19.5 LilGun.........1990 FPS max 20.6 sd Looks like a winner to me, now to see if they will stay on a target!

Can you get more H110 in there? The SD looks good just slower speed than the others.

Yes you could put a little more in it room wise, but half a grain more was showing signs of a MAX load. Flat primers and a little sticky. I knew it would never catch up with the LilGun load, so why bother!

Wait till you see what I post tomorrow. To late for me to start posting data tonight, but I went back to the range today to take a few loads on up the ladder that I did not take high enough yesterday. There was one load that really stands out. Velocity AND accuracy and it's in 357 brass. I think development with this bullet will be over as I do not see it getting any better.

Now I HAVE to order that dang NOE 360-180 mold!
