RD, I doubt I would be the only one that would giggle with glee if you were to post data for that custom mold. Not that I also ordered one.

I did get my bullet mold on Saturday but it is gon'na be a real good while before I can work with it. Sometime this winter at the earliest.

Years ago I had more money than patience. Now it's the opposite so waiting for a winter break doesn't sound so bad. :lol:

don't think so much of it as max pressure but where the max pressure occurs and where the boolit is at the time.
if it hits 6" down the barrel the bullet is moving and it's fully supported by steel.
not much damage can happen at that point [except maybe some gas cutting]
if it's happening in the throat where the bullet isn't so supported and the gas can surround it then you increase the chances of damage or blow-bye.
