I've loaded and shot quite a few Bayou Bullets in the past, before Donnie Miculek "retired" from the company business. In all, I've loaded .38 spl, .357 mag, .44 mag, 9mm and .45 acp with the BB's. The bullets are clean and easy to work with, although they weren't the best fit to the bore nor were they the most accurate in any of my guns. I'm sure a lot has to do with my own reloading techniques regarding the lackluster performance I was finally recognizing from the BB's, but I still like the fact of them being clean and easy to work with.

Just my limited experience.
