Mine is Hornady branded although I surmise one company makes them all. Mine is chewed up on the threaded end but works the same as always IF THE CAP IS THREADED TIGHTLY.

Mine is a Cabela's brand, but I'd betcha 29 cents it was made by RCBS. Looks just like theirs, and has a rubber bumper/plug in it.
For whacking, I have an 8" piece of RR track that I found and use as an anvil. I can whack the snot out of it with that puller and doesn't even blink. Works great!

I know I've seen at least 3 or 5 different enough that the molds have to be different, not just swappable logo plates.
