I posted this on the Lee Loader Forum, but for those that may not visit there, here it is.
I will be wet tumbling brass with ss pins and want to decap first. I don't want to run dirty brass through the decapping/resizing die on my turret press and I don't really want to start swapping out turrets just for this function. I could have purchased a hand decapping tool or a single stage press, but I chose to go the DIY route and used some odds-and-ends laying around the workshop, as well as an existing, bench-mounted workshop tool for decapping.
I took an extra shell holder I had and found a washer that the bottom of the shell holder fit through. I then wrapped some solid romex wire a few times around the back of the shell holder to keep it centered and attached to the washer. the wire also makes the whole assembly fit snugly in the existing center hole of my drill press, so I can just pop it in and out of the press easily. I'm using the decapping pin from my decapping / resizing die to drive out the old primers and a plastic container under the drill press to catch them. I had all the spare bits laying around and it works well. I can now decap away from my Lee press and the setup on the drill press it literally a snap (of the shell holder into the center hole of the drill press) and a twist (of the chuck to hold the decapping pin). so I'm claiming victory on this one.

yep .... mine was only 12 bucks, but it wouldn't drill holes
Still a cool innovation though

I find it decapps particularly well when the bit is spinning in the press.
