I've been using Lee dies for most of my life and have been loading oversized applications for the last 15 years. I also use Starline (44 Mag, 45 Colt, 454 Casull, & 480 Ruger), just haven't had the problems mentioned. When the NOE Powder Through Expander Die Plugs were made available, several years ago now, I replaced my Lee plugs with them. I do lube all my cases to include inside the case mouth, even those destined for the Carbide dies sets. I use a spray solution of isopropyl alcohol (50-51%) with the Lee Case Lube.
