If Rossi doesnt get on the ball and start shipping 92s, I may have to go with a japanese winchester.
This one is $879.00
44-40 would be real nice.

It is tempting, isnt it.
If the rossi 92s get up to $500 / $600, I wouldnt mind paying the $800 plus.

Hmmm:
"*THIS ITEM IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN"
"Due to shipping restriction guns cannot be returned to MidwayUSA."

Even Bud's gives you right of inspection.
While I'm pretty sure Midway would work something out with you if they decided not to you'd be left with the manufacturer and your own devices as your recourses.

Is there a technical difference between "returning" and "refusing delivery?"

Back in 2014 I purchased a marlin guide gun from sportsmans warehouse.
checked it over, looked good, got it home and noticed there issues with cycling/lever lockup.
Called sportsmans warehouse to return, they said no returns, once I purchase the firearm, it is between me and the manufacturer.
Buds have given me a lifetime return policy on my rossi 92 purchases, but I had to pay extra.
