My email tells me to expect the spare FP and the ejector spring parts this afternoon. Might be lucky, and get some range time again this weekend to check things out. I really like this Marlin!

I forgot to add - if I get to the range Saturday or Sunday, and the Taurus 85 comes along, it will already be "unlocked" before I go! (and I'll bring the key anyway...

Hey, the FP and the ejector spring assembly came yesterday afternoon. Looks good, so I will reinstall the spring and get the gun "levering" properly tomorrow.GasGuzzler wrote:Can't wait for the report.

However, I don't know if my range time is gonna happen or not. My truck is being borrowed tomorrow, maybe I will be able to get out Sunday.
Where are the repo buttplates that don't look like a cheesy 5th-generation copy of a beat up Marlin plate?
Until I can source a nice looking plate, I may get a leather cuff for the stock.
