I drilled and tapped the barrel this afternoon. It all worked out just fine. Now, I'm going to take the wood off for a refinish. I'm going to take a bit of the butt stock off and fit a Decelerator to it.

The aft scope ring on the Redfield Jr. base can be unlocked and rotated to the right side of the rifle and the scope removed. There is an adjustable rear sight that is part of the base.

I do believe that is the ultimate do it all rifle.
be a hard hitting bush rifle that can shoot long range also.
