Rossi model 941

Post by edritchey »

I've done some searching and wasn't able to find any threads with info. on the Rossi model 941. Does anyone know anything about these revolvers I traded an old H&R 22LR revolver for one and it seems like a well made .38 spl. but I can't find any info at all on them. I'm wondering how hot of ammo you can safely shoot out of it and if there are any aftermarket grips available for them. Thanks in advance for any info that you may be able to provide.

I just replied to another of your posts.

If the 941 is a fake S&W K, it should take .38 +P but there's no point in high velocity .38 special IMO.

Usually the shape is the same but the pin and screw locations differ.

I eventually found Rossi grips for my M88 at a show. (I wanted to keep the original wood grips nice AND I needed composite to clear speed loaders). I had to modify them to fit even though they were Rossi.
