New single shot rifles and a shotgun from Henry

I just saw this yesterday and they look nice. The shotgun has the look of all the typical single shot shotguns we've seen over the years. It will be produced in 12, 20 and 410. The single shot rifle was chambered for the 45-70 so let's hear it for some extra weight hidden somewhere.

I forgot about this other new gun, a 410 Henry Levergun, also in 2017.

The Single Shot is a very nice looking rifle and it will be interesting to see what they sell for and how they perform. Initially they will be chambered in 223 Rem, 243 Win, 308 Win, and 45-70 Govt.

You can see the leveraction 410 and Single Shots at 19:50 into this video.

They also have a 360 Rifle. They are using a picture of the Long Ranger but no description of it yet. I'm wondering if it will be a takedown.

There is no doubt that Henry is bent on providing the models and cartridge offerings that Rossi has dropped.

Not much info but I'm liking the look of that single shot rifle.

I'll take a long barrel .410 lever thank you.

Yeah, I'll pass on a $300+ top break. Especially chambered in the bottleneck cartridges. If it was a falling block like the Ruger No. 1, I would be interested but not in any of the cartridges offered.

I'd probably save my lunch money for something in 38-55.

Make smoke,

I think a 410 leveraction is cool but how heavy will it be also how expensive. Will it have removable chokes if that's possible. I know the Rio grande left me wanting, but with it discontinued I never wanted to risk it. +corn

+1

The .45-70 break action might be doable but I have a couple levers in the caliber and don't need it.
As RD said a rolling or falling block on the other hand a-la Winchester 1885 would be pretty nice.

I'm surely not concerned with the weight of any .410.
