Specs on 410 Tuffy vs Snake Charmer I & II vs Tamer

Post by vvllbs »

Has any one owned one of each, from what I understand H. Koon made the original in Texas and Snake Charmer II was made by a French Company. NEF or H&R then came up with the "Tamer" in 410, 20 and had a short run of it in 12 for Y2K as well as there Survivor in 410/45LC which I own one. Now Rossi has the Tuffy. I'm thinking that the Charmer would be the smallest then the Rossi with the H&R being the heaviest. What about length?

Just a note, the Rossi Tuffy is no longer in production.

My Tamer is about 6 lbs, 2 oz. (batteries dead in the digital scales, so I used the kitchen scales).
Barrel 19 1/4"
overall length 32 1/2"
Trigger pull 11 7/8"
Mine is SS
