Muzzleloader

Post by crashphoenix »

Hey all,
I've got a chance to pick up a muzzleloader/12g rifled pair for a good price. There's not a whole heap of info out there on the Rossi muzzleloader.
Evidently it's not to be used with loose power, which is a little bit of a drawback for me. I plan on using the pyrodex pellets anyway, but like the idea of the option to use loose powder if needed. It's my first foray into Muzzleloading.
Anyone have one or experience with one?
Thanks!

As far as I remember, I've not seen a single post about the muzzleloader. Is this a Wizard or the single shot? Looks like you are soon to be our resident expert!

 Great no pressure :)

It's a single shot matched set with muzzleloader and rifled 12g. MODEL S12-50M. Looked pretty sweet And I'm lucky enough that my girlfriend supports my habit. I'm just making sure i get the right deal. Maybe by the weekend I'll have it. +guns

Muzzleloader deal went belly-up. We just couldn't come to a price agreement on it. I'm still in the market for one.
On the plus side, I did just get a stainless circuit judge in trade for one of my safe queens I never shoot. Really looking forward to hitting the range :). I'm thinking squirrels, rabbits and even deer (at short range of course).
