Couldn't find a pic on my phone to post but it makes better bullets than I do if that makes sense.

Actually, I haven't killed a hog or shot the R92 357 Mag since I did that load work. I own a lot of rifles, more than most gun shops have in stock, so I kind of float around with choice. I owned 70 plus rifles at one point in my life so I culled about half of them. Unfortunately, it made matters worse and I'm embarrassed to state how many I actually now own.

I did just cast a bunch of the 190-grain bullets, they are to be distributed among several rifles; Marlin 336D 35 Rem, Rem 600 35 Rem, Rossi 92 357 Mag, and Sav 170B 35 Rem.

For all around hog killing on my place, I would consider the 30-30 Win, 32 Win Spl, and 35 Rem as the best balance of performance. With age, I will probably wander less to other hunting opportunities and one day it will boil down to one of my favorites chambered in one of those cartridges.

That makes sense.
Sort of like my 30-30 can kill at 200 plus yards, if i can do my part.

I was in a LGS over in Corbin KY couple weeks back, just up the road from the first KFC.
Asked if they had any 30-30 brass.
They went back to the storage room and brought out a case of federal premium 30-30 brass.
Gave me a price of $16.92 per 50 case bag, came to $18.00 with tax.
So I bought the entire box, 250 cases.
They had one case left so i left it for someone else.
Fed Ex had just delivered them that morning.
Midway has the same brass for a bit higher,

Sounds like a deal.
I'd have problems turning it down at that price.

Did you buy 250 cases or 250 pieces of cartridge brass?
250 x $18? or 5 x $18? I don't think I could afford $4500 worth of brass at one whack.

Did you leave a case of 1 or 5 or 10 bags or a single cartridge case for the next guy?

"Yeah, hi, look, i need one 30-30 case. No, not a case of 30-30 brass, i need one case. Of 30-30. Yeah. Just one. Oh you do?"

250 brass cases.
50 per bag, and 5 bags in a box.
So I bought one box, 5 bags at 50 per bag, $90 .00
They had another box in storage.
Federal ships them out 5 bags per box, dont know why they do that.

Reminds me of when i stopped by a small gun and pawn shop last winter, the shop is way out in the middle of nowhere.
An old guy came in, he walked about 5 to 8 miles.
He said he wanted a number #4 12 gauge shotgun shell, just one.
They said we dont have any #4, but we have #6, oo buck, and everything else.
He said no, it has to be #4.
then he turned around and left.
