With any wood replacments remember that they all or almost all will need final fitting. Just thought I would mention just in case.

I looked through my safe last night against my Rio Grande's and the biggest issue will be the forearm I think.

I tried swapping the butt stock with my 336 and it's not even close. I don't remember exactly how they differ, but it's more work than I'm willing to do. You might get it to function but it's not going to look pretty. I'd be interested to see if Rossi would sell the camouflage synthetic stocks that are pictured in the catalog .
