My buddy's and my Ranch Hands... Finally!

My buddy and I have been wanting to get Ranch Hands since they came out years ago. Well this week, it looks like it is finally gonna work out. He got his 45 today and I have been playing with it today. Of course, it shoots high, so I just ordered a bolt mounted peep to try and eradicate it. If for some reason it doesnt work out, I have a taller front I will put on it too. While i was at it, I ordered the mag tube follower as well.

This is a cool little pistola. I sure wish the USA would let us put a stock on it like our Northern brothers but oh well. I guess we have perks they dont too...

Here she is. So pretty!

And the 12" gong shot at 45 yards (sun was shining at 50, so I moved up to 45! HA!). I was holding at the very bottom of the gong when shooting. I should also add that the PO had filed the rear sight notch a good bit to try and lower POI, but it still seems to shoot high.

As for mine, I am gonna pick it up in the next day or two, Lord willing. It is a 357. I am more excited about this than I probably should be. I havent seen it yet, but the shop told me what it is, and it should look just like my buddy's 45.

The plan for mine is eventually a tax stamp and butt stock, but i havent totally decided that is what i am gonna do. But the Hickock45 video keeps telling me YES!

Good times! +guns

Someone here did sbr theirs but I don't recollect whom. It looks sweet. He had to do some fitting to a Boyds stock, but it looked factory when it was done. I might be thinking of another forum if I find it I'll share link. I'm pretty sure he used to be here to but here is an older thread that shows a ranch sbred. Not our forum though.
Though I'm pretty sure we had a beekeeper here that did this to.

Thanks for the links.

I was in a gun shop the other day and they had a shotgun in there with a butt stock that had a two pc detachable shoulder stock on it. Twist and pull to remove the back half of the stock leaving what looks like the Ranch Hand stock. It was pretty dang cool.
