So what stock is that and did it fit well or did you have to make it fit?

I guess it's just a cut off production stock?

This post is just to make sure US owners understand that you cannot add to the Ranch Hand stock or replace it with an R92 stock.

Also, the barrel on the Ranch Hand is not drilled and tapped for a scope base like the round barrel R92 rifles are. Thought this info might save you returning your purchases if you didn't look before you bought.

Thats a very good post. A lot of people seem to not know that you will have a short Barrel Rifle if you change that stock and its a 200.00 for a stamp from ATF to do that. In canada they dont have that problem.

Thank you for the + comments.
donhuff; I bought the gun used and it came with an unfinished/unfitted buttstock and forend ( I have no idea of the manufacturer) They were quite a bit of work to make fit but it was worth it in the end IMO.
coyotebc; the rail was from here http://mod94scoperail.com/purchase.html and the flashlight mounts were from AliExpress or Banggood. If you don't want a reddot I have a Skinner peepsight I could sell you. I liked it but it just didn't work at night. If you meant the stock you might check with these people http://www.rustywood.ca/

If you are in the Okanagan you might check with Selins as I see they are listing Boyd's buttstocks for $139.99 if that is what you are looking for.
